Has two higher education. In 1997 he graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk State Technical University of Oil and Gas (specialty "Designing, construction and operation of gas pipelines and gas storage facilities"). In 2001 he graduated from the International Institute of Management (specialty "Management of Foreign Economic Activity of Enterprises").
The oil and gas industry has been operating for over 20 years.
From 1997 to 2009 he worked in the system of OJSC Ukrtransnafta, passed the labor path from the mechanical engineer of the Sumy district oil pipeline to the chief engineer of the branch of the Pridneprovsky main oil pipelines.
From 2009 to 2014 Burak IZ He worked as Deputy Chief, Head of the Main Gas Pipelines and Gas Distribution Stations, Director of the Department of Gas Transportation at PJSC "UKRTRANSGAS".
From April 2014 to August 2017 Igor Burak served as Vice President-Chief Engineer of PJSC "UKRTRANSGAS".
Igor Burak actively participated in numerous programs of reconstruction and modernization of energy efficiency of the oil and gas transportation system of Ukraine.
1. Construction of the pumping station "Nikolaevskaya" (2003), - the head of the construction site.
2. Organization of reverse gas deliveries from Europe to Ukraine (2013), - the head of the technical implementation group.
3. Modernization of the main gas pipeline "Urengoy-Pomari-Uzhgorod" (2014-2017 years), - the head of the technical implementation group.
